چکیده

The perovskite film is the core of a solar cell (PSC), and its quality crucial for performance such devices. morphology, crystallinity, surface coverage layer greatly affect power conversion efficiency (PCE), hysteresis, long-term stability PSCs. incorporation appropriate solvent additives in precursor solution an effective strategy to control morphology reduce defects grain boundaries. However, commonly used are environmentally harmful highly toxic. In this work, α-terpineol (a nontoxic, eco-friendly, low-cost monoterpene alcohol) employed first time as alternative green additive improve one-step solution-processed CH3NH3PbI3–xClx films restrain nonradiative recombination corresponding An in-depth investigation physicochemical effects induced by high-boiling-point, polar protic when incorporated into conventional system provided. collected data demonstrate that addition precise amount can generate uniform crystalline with improved photovoltaic performances. Through approach, PCE planar n–i–p PSCs boosted up 17.5% (against 16.1% top device) reduced hysteresis enhanced ambient stability.

A solution-processed bathocuproine cathode interfacial layer for high-performance bromine-iodine perovskite solar cells.

Perovskite film generally has rough surface morphology due to the voids between the grain domains. Smoothed interface contact between the perovskite layer and the top electrode is critical for planar perovskite solar cells. We reported high efficiency bromine-iodine based perovskite solar cells with a flattening cathode interface by incorporating a solution-processed bathocuproine (sBCP) interf...

Effects of solvent additive on “s-shaped” curves in solution-processed small molecule solar cells

A novel molecular chromophore, p-SIDT(FBTThCA8)2, is introduced as an electron-donor material for bulk heterojunction (BHJ) solar cells with broad absorption and near ideal energy levels for the use in combination with common acceptor materials. It is found that films cast from chlorobenzene yield devices with strongly s-shaped current-voltage curves, drastically limiting performance. We find t...

Enhanced Performance of Planar Perovskite Solar Cells Using Low-Temperature Solution-Processed Al-Doped SnO2 as Electron Transport Layers

Lead halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs) appear to be the ideal future candidate for photovoltaic applications owing to the rapid development in recent years. The electron transport layers (ETLs) prepared by low-temperature process are essential for widespread implementation and large-scale commercialization of PSCs. Here, we report an effective approach for producing planar PSCs with Al3+ dop...

Preparation of CdIn2S4-CdS nanocomposite via a green route and using them in dot-sensitized solar cells for boosting efficiency

In this work In2S3 and CdS nanoparticles were prepared by a simple hydrothermal method and then annealed at 500 °C for 2 h in an Ar gas until CdIn2S4(CdIS)-CdS nanocomposites were formed. Afterwards, efficiency of the as-synthesized CdIS-CdS nanocomposite in quantum dot-sensitized solar cells (QDSSCs) was evaluated. For this purpose, the as-prepared CdIS-CdS nanocomposites were deposited on TiO...
